Have I mentioned how many animals we have in this house?! Oh, wait. I have. Several times. If you follow me on instagram, you already see them frequently, but I wanted to give y’all some details on these special pets. The first four were Tim’s, and Lucy was mine.
Uno is the first of the three brother cats (they are about 5 years old). He is what I refer to as a “ginger cat”, and kind of chubby. He is fairly needy, always purring, and has big eyes that you can’t say no to. He also recently isn’t a cooperative photo subject.
Dos (obviously the second) is distinguishable by his weight. He is super fat. He also is more likely than the other cats to lay on counters, purses, suitcases, and jackets, than the other cats. He sheds a lot.
Tres is the most adventurous and skinny cat. He has a history of disappearing for days, although lately he has taken to being home by bedtime to cuddle. He’s by far the favorite cat. He also comes running for treats more than the other two cats.
Tinkerbell is about 8 years old and a hound mix. She’s very playful and kind of spastic. She is pretty smart and responds to commands. But she still gets into the trash. Also, if we’re not careful, she might eat the food right off our plates.
Lucy is 12 years old and is a border collie & german shepherd mix. She was a pound puppy and was very scraggly with floppy ears when my family got her. She is very anxious, but very obedient. Now that she’s older, she’s less playful but still very sweet. And kind of needy. She loves to eat ice.
And that’s our little zoo. We are not taking more and we definitely don’t need any more cats.
Do y’all have too many animals in your house, too?
