REVLON COLORSTAY FOUNDATION: I had to cheat a little. Like I mentioned in my favorites video, my skin has been extra dry, so I had spray my foundation brush with some Mac Fix + before blending it into my skin. This foundation always has great coverage.
COLORSTAY CONCEALER: This used to be my favorite concealer to use, and it’s just as good as I remember it.
REVLON CREAM BLUSH IN PINCHED: This was pretty difficult to build up compared to most cream blushes I’ve used. I could have used my fingers, but I always seem to have a hard time blending in cream blushes that way. I definitely prefer powder blushes.
REVLON HIGHLIGHTING PALETTE: My biggest beef with this palette was that it was super GLITTERY. That’s to be expected from a highlighter, but this was chunky glitter that seemed to be all over my face at the end of the day. The middle of the palette was far too pigmented, and seemed to be better as a blush topper.
REVLON BROW FANTASY: It took me a lot longer than usual to fill in my brows with this product. I definitely missed my ABH Brow Wiz. The pencil was too big for me, and too soft, which made it difficult to work with.
IMPRESSIONIST PALETTE: I used this palette in the exact way the back of it instructed. I found the shadows difficult to blend, and I wish I’d skipped the glitter topper. However, this is a great palette for people who are hesitant to use multiple shadows.
LASH POTION: This mascara was pretty dry, which I do prefer, but that did mean it took awhile to build up. The brush was much larger than I’m used to, so it was pretty difficult to apply closer to the inner corner, and nearly impossible on the bottom lashes.
COLORSTAY LINER & BRIGHTENER: I regularly use the brightener side of this pencil in my routine. It’s my favorite way to brighten my eyes.
COLORSTAY LINER IN NATURAL: This is a very, very light color. This isn’t my favorite liner as it’s not very pigmented in any shades I’ve tried.
JUST BITTEN BALM STAIN IN PRECIOUS: I love these! They’re so easy to throw in my purse.
WHAT’S MISSING? When I do a one brand face like this, I try to use as much from my stash as I can before I hit up the drugstore to fill in the holes. Unfortunately, I couldn’t seem to find a primer or a good powder (my color, at least), but I don’t always feel it’s necessary to use primer, and I haven’t been using as much powder lately, anyway.
