I think everyone knows pregnancy changes skin, hair, and nails. In my case, my hair and skin are obviously much dryer. It started during IVF treatments, and has only escalated since getting my positive pregnancy test! Because my skin used to be combination-oily, I’ve had to revamp my skincare routine! Here are the products I’m using now:
CeraVe Hydrating Cleanser* Switching cleansers was the best choice I could have made. The cleanser I was using before was great for oily skin, but obviously dried out my skin in recent months.
CeraVe Eye Repair Cream* I put aside a few anti-wrinkle eye creams (just in case) and went for the CeraVe to keep the skin around my eyes moisturized.
Konjac Facial Sponge* I’ve ditched my Clarisonic Mia for the Konjac sponge. It gently exfoliates my skin without irritating any acne I may have.
Bioderma H2O Micelle Solution* This is my favorite product to remove my eye makeup!
Dickinson’s Witch Hazel Toner* I’m now avoid salicylic acid, so I went for a more natural toner.
Hydrology by Borghese Relluminate Facial Oil This was sent to me. Since I had it on hand, I added it to my routine to give my skin the extra boost of moisture it needed.
Neutrogena Hydro Boost Water Gel* I tried this last year when I received in an an Influenster box, and since I’ve repurchased it. It’s wonderful for winter or anyone who has dry skin.
Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion I’ve been using this for a long time, but it is still my favorite. I prefer to only use it at night since it does feel kind of heavy on my skin.
