If you didn’t catch my post yesterday, the ECV this week was not successful, so we are scheduling a c-section due to Charlotte being breech. This means there is only one more bumpdate after this one. :)
How far along? 38 weeks
Baby is the size of a: leek (19.6 in, 6.8 lbs)
Weight gain: Uhhhh… I think I’m right around the same as usual.
Belly button in or out? In, but shallow. I think it’s going to stay in!
Miss anything? Staying out late.
Movement: Lots of large movements. Unfortunately, none of those seem to bring her into a head-down position.
Food: Appetite is still low, but queso still sounds amazing.
Mood: Apparently it’s totally normal to bawl like a baby when your ECV doesn’t work. I wasn’t in a great mood Wednesday or Thursday, because I was still wrapping my head around the fact that I will indeed be having a scheduled c-section, but I’m doing much better now. I’m looking at the perks, which include PLANNING all the things and knowing exactly how many days we have until Charlotte is here!
Sleep: Sleeping pretty well, with the exception of Tuesday night, thanks to nerves and waking up early to head to the hospital. Tim and I both snoozed on and off til noon yesterday. We might as well enjoy it while we can.
Best moment this week: Those big movements make me smile (except when, you know, they hurt). Now that I know her booty is settled into my pelvis, I can tell what it is I’m feeling. And feeling her feet move is pretty cool.
