Y’all know I’ve watched a ton of TV shows (I just leave it going in the background), and of course I have favorites. So today, I’m bringing you a list of what I think are the best TV shows of all time.
It took me awhile to get into this one, because it is super nerdy. But once I did, I couldn’t stop. It’s so fracking good. Don’t bother watching the 1978 series (unless you really want to for some reason) and start with the 2003 miniseries. Follow it up with the prequel series, Caprica.
Beverly Hills, 90210
My sister-in-law convinced me I should watch this classic a few years ago, and I have no regrets. I don’t know how I got through the ’90s without Kelly and Brandon. But seriously, everything bad that could possibly happen happened to Kelly Taylor. Follow it up with Melrose Place, watch the modern day 90210, and don’t bother with the modern day Melrose Place.
Buffy the Vampire Slayer
I’m going to go ahead and clump Junior High, High, and Next Generation all together here, because I firmly believe all three series are worth watching. I can’t seem to find Next Generation streaming anymore, but my guess is, it will be on Netflix when the “Next Class”. In the meantime, catch up on some ’80s and ’90s teen drama.
It’s like Dawson’s Creek, but not quite as depressing. You’ll recognize a lot of the main cast.
You didn’t think Friends would be left off this list, did you? Now that Friends is on Netflix, you have no excuses. You should have seen every single episode by now.
I feel like this show was under appreciated, but it was one of the best sitcoms in years. I do think this cast is cursed though, because most of them can’t keep a show for more than 1 or 2 seasons since this one ended.
It’s never lupus.
How I Met Your Mother
Yes, we all know the last season was a disappointment, but in my opinion, it’s still very much worth watching.
I feel like Jericho was also under appreciated, and I was very disappointed it was canceled.
We have to go back! How can you live your life without watching Lost?
Skip this one if you’re easily offended, but this is one of the weirdest/best shows there is. It was created by Ryan Murphy, so if you like how strange American Horror Story is, you might enjoy this.
One Tree Hill
I never expected to be so emotionally attached to those characters, but I was. It’s filled with good music, lots of drama, and more teens who are actually 26 years old. I plan on re-watching this one soon.
I was so excited to see Lauren Graham on TV again, and so, SO sad when it ended. Grab the tissues.
Parks and Recreation
This one is so funny, you’ll fly through the entire series effortlessly.
Yes, you do need to watch the cheesiest teen drama with aliens. Don’t fight it.
Saved by the Bell
Watch the entire series while you yell at Kelly to pick Zack.
Just skip the last two seasons.
Sex & the City
If you’re a girl, you should have already watched this. If you’re a guy, someday a girl will make you watch this.
That ’70s show
If you want 8 seasons of great comedy, this is for you.
What would you add to the list?
