I mentioned before that Tim and I were traveling from Atlanta to New Hampshire, and back home, in the Tesla Model S. This is particularly significant because we’re driving an all electric car, with an ideal range of 300 miles, much further than 300 miles. It’s tricky, but doable, and that’s what we’ve proved this past week. We were like pioneers on an electric Oregon Trail or something.
When Tim first mentioned driving to New Hampshire, my jaw dropped. I had been stressed out enough just driving to Savannah back in March, and that was only 260 miles. But after he explained his strategy, I agreed, and decided that even when things might not be ideal, I’d be as positive and patient as I could manage to be (if you know me well, you might know I don’t actually have a lot of patience). He also opted to post the trip real-time on his website (which included tweets and instagrams from us).
