Recap & What I Loved in May 2019

What Happened

This month started out with Atlanta Area Moms Blog’s annual BLOOM event! I love this event, and now that I’m a contributor, I got to officially be a part of the action. The event is for new and expecting moms, with a bunch of giveaways, swag, and a panel of experts.

We also celebrated Mother’s Day, of course. My grandmother was in town, so we were able to take her and my parents out to lunch. I got the best gift: sleeping in and time to myself. Just what I needed!

Charlotte’s first year of school came to a close. I’m already counting the days until her first day back!

And of course, if you follow me on Instagram, you know we went to Disney World! (Apologies for the WDW overload.) It was the most fun, but also the most exhausting, trip I’ve ever been on. Charlotte absolutely loved seeing Mickey everywhere, meeting Elsa and Anna, and every character dinner.

What I Loved

This Romper – I am all about some comfortable clothes to wear around the house and in the backyard this summer! I feel like I can’t pull off many rompers, but this one is flattering and so soft.

Ice Roller – I finally caved and bought one! This feels great on a puffy face first thing in the morning.

MoxieLash – I saw these on Meg O‘s instagram stories and was curious! I am terrible at using falsies, and the Ardell magnet lashes were awful. These are so easy!!

Supergoop! Poof Mineral Part and Scalp Powde
r – I fell victim to Facebook ads, but I’ve been looking for something like this for years! I packed this for Disney and used it on myself and Charlotte to avoid the dreaded scalp burn. You do have to work it into your hair, because it’s white, but it’s worth it!

These Old Navy shorts – Also very comfy, I’ll be living in these for the next couple of months!

I need that scalp spray!!! My head always burns at the beach because my hair so thin…so this would be perfect! I loved seeing all your Disney stories. We are trying to plan a trip for when Zoe is 4.

Yes! My part always burns, and Charlotte’s hair is lighter (but she won’t wear a hat) so I was REALLY excited this came out!!
